Condition Monitoring Supervisor - Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES • To obtains requirements for work and “receives permits to work from Operations”, and distributes the work permits to subordinates to carry out the job. • To implement and checks that daily inspection and predictive maintenance checks on rotating machinery such as gas compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, motors etc. are regularly carried out as defined. Attending other abnormalities being raised by operations. • To follow up on the balancing and alignment of rotating parts after the repair or manufacture. • To supervise Condition Monitoring by checking vibrations, temperature and pressures. Checking oils levels and flows including steam traps mapping, surveillance, traps analysis and raising work orders. Reports abnormality to Reliability Engineer. • To supervise the daily review and checking of on line monitoring system (Bentley Nevada Machinery Monitoring System, Machinery Condition Monitoring and performance monitoring) on critical machinery for abnormalities and reporting exceptions to Reliability Engineer. • To ensure that the rotary equipment no load and load Pdm performances are in acceptable levels after any repair. • To ensure through Pdm techniques the required repairs / replacements are correctly carried out and equipment after re-assembly is in accordance with the requirements. Continuously building/updating equipment conditions monitoring database for the existing and new facilities. • To supervise the site acceptance of new equipment based on no load/load run performance in the project. Releasing punch list for abnormalities of rotating equipment in the project, confirming punch list items after execution by contracts. • To provide on job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization. • To prepare reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly equipment condition monitoring of Rotating Equipment including Steam Traps. • To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures MAIN CHALLENGES • To provide a high quality machinery condition monitoring data collection service for the Rotating Equipment Section, for a broad range of complex equipment.
