HR Assistant - Al Jawhara Hotels - United Arab Emirates

To assist the HR Supervisor in personnel matters and providing administrative support with the execution of the all of the following:

Main duties and responsibilities
• Assist in the co-ordination and orientation of new employees
• Responsible for the time-keeping of staff attendance records.
• Assist in the development of Human Resource Policy and Procedure.
• Prepare the processes employment application
• Arranging the Flight Tickets for the New Hire and vacation
• Update the employment files by systematically
• Maintain the filing accordingly and confidentially
• Tracing for the staff Accommodation arrangement
• Prepare the visa application accordingly
• Assist in the coordination of the support staff appraisal process.
• Responsible for the maintenance of office supplies and equipments.
• Collecting the needful document from the Associates for their personnel file
• Updating the Notice Boards, Picture Board, TQM Box, Funtime comment book
• Trace the Visa and Passport Expiry dates
• Trace and Prepare the associates Birthday Coordination with F & B
• Perform administrative/clerical work as required.

General responsibilities:
Report to work on time with proper uniform, including name tag. Personal appearance must comply with the standard of the hotel.
Develop knowledge about frequent guests and their special requests and needs.
Report any unusual occurrences to his superior.
At all times strive to represent Al Jawhara in the most professional, courteous manner.
Be able to work accordingly to budget, keep constant eye on staffing level and control costs as much as you can.
Be able to perform any additional scope of duties if requested by the Management.
