Planner - Drydocks World - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

• Establish goals, objectives and prioritize for the vessels to be docked.
• Prepare drawings, sketches and simple calculation of ship stability and ballast distribution.
• Review and monitor the required plans of vessels scheduled for dry-docking.
• Responsible for guiding and providing technical information about the ships to be docked.
• Operate computer aided (AutoCAD) software for drafting the preliminary and final drawings. Operate reproduction equipment/machine, such as blue printing machine, plotters and printers.
• Coordinate with various department, shops and subcontractors, to ensure the safety of docking the vessels.
• Conduct drydock inspection, after the vessel is docked and monitor ship repair site.
• Plan effectively to minimize the transfer of dock blocks from one dock to another.

Profile • Preferably a graduate in Naval Architecture.
• Computer proficient with AutoCAD experience.
• Working experience as Docking Planner in a major shipyard.
