Aircraft Technician - Air Arabia - Sharjah - United Arab Emirates

Purpose
The purpose of this role is to perform routine and non-routine tasks during maintenance inputs of A,C and unscheduled maintenance inputs as directed by the Licensed Engineer and Hangar Supervisor .

Main Responsibilities
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on ABY and 3rd party aircrafts during maintenance inputs.
• Ensure that he is fully conversant with the tasks allocated to him.
• Ensure strict adherence to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer manuals and other publications.
• Ensure that Licensed Engineer and Hangar Supervisor are kept fully advised of any impending service disruptions or problems.
• Ensure that all work meets the standards required of ABY and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure that replacement parts and components are done is a professional manners and all the required blanking of ports and covering the exposed areas are covered and meets a high standard quality.
• To make sure that components are physically checked and inspected prior to fitment to aircraft or component.
• Ensure strict adherence to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer manuals and other publications.
• Ensure that removed components are correctly handled, labeled and blanked.
• Willing to work under harsh condition and shift work.

Desired Profile
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance fields.Good English communication skills. Age between 23-45 years. A pro-active and interactive attitude with the flexibility required for working within a small organization. Physically fit and has the ability to travel regularly and at short notice.
