Recruitment Officer - Etihad Airways - United Arab Emirates

To provide recruiting services and deliver high quality competent candidates in a timely fashion by implementing effective search and administration techniques; To make sure that on boarding process is on track in order to meet departmental deadlines.

Qualification & Education:
Tertiary level education i.e. Degree or Professional Diploma/Certificate or equivalent in HR, Training, Development, Management, or Psychology/Sociology, or similar where the understanding and assessment of people is a core requirement of the qualification

Experience:
·          Degree or 4 year diploma: 3 years HR experience, at least one year of which has been in a corporate recruitment or agency environment; previous airline industry experience a plus.
·          2 year diploma: 4 to 5 years HR experience, at least one year of which has been in a corporate recruitment or agency environment; previous airline industry experience a plus.

Training & Knowledge:

·          Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken; Arabic language an advantage.
·          Strong verbal and written communication skills
·         Interviewing and assessment techniques gained through experience and professional training.

Responsibilities   

Organise and/or support specific recruitment campaigns both in and outside of Abu Dhabi; including initiatives for multiple positions to attract and process quality candidates. Professionally and effectively manage assigned recruitment activities including interviews and assessment centres and/or one-off projects to meet set project goals.

Utilise available databases and explore other methods of securing suitable candidates, and when necessary write quality print and web based advertisements to attract candidates across UAE.

Review job descriptions and design appropriate competency based questions for telephone screening. Liaise with Line Managers and Manager Recruitment if necessaryregarding required questions and advise and facilitate professional selection interviews/assessment centers in conjunction with Line Managers. Perform reference checks where required.

Build professional and open relationships with Line Managers and departments, providing a committed service and balancing process integrity issues with the need to be responsive to departmental pressures.
