Customer Support Engineer - ABB Group - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Ideally you will be an electrical engineering graduate with good product and application knowledge & also sound knowledge in SAP.

Your main tasks will be the following -:
Identifying correct spare parts and specifications for technically and commercially correct solution ,Preparation of estimates and quotations based on previous service history ,Provide technical/commercial clarifications as required and based on our systems after discussion with Technical Manager ,Explaining repairs to clients in workshop ,Ensure timely submission of quotation and follow the relevant procedures while preparing the quotes ,Regular follow up of pending quotations ,Pro-actively inform customers for upcoming service and spare parts sale ,Customer visits as per visit plan ,General department correspondence,Liaise with workshop to ensure efficient workflow,Preparation of job order forms ,Responsible for accuracy of orders and cost ,Prepare FCM and check margins on quotations / orders , Proactively providing customer with most economical options. (reconditioned spare parts etc.) ,Ensuring export control regulations are followed for sensitive countries ,Preparing technical reports for customer whenever required ,Purchase material for orders from factory, Payment follow up ,Report quality related issues and non-conformance’s,Prepare invoices and credit note request ,Prepare sales and purchase orders in SAP ,General administration and documentation.
