Senior Accountant Financial Management - Reporting - Saudi Arabian Mining Company - Maaden - Saudi Arabia

Under the general supervision of the Accounting Supervisor,
delivers the accounting and control function in areas of production, costing
and management reporting and business performance reporting of MGBMC.

Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent with Professional Qualification (CPA or CA)
    5 years’ professional related financial & cost accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or processing environment.
    Fluency in English.
    Computer literacy, knowledge of financial systems and PC applications, Oracle ERP system knowledge is preferable.
    Good commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    An ability to demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking
    Exceptionally strong in integrating skills of multiple functions and people to deliver best results.
    Strong understanding of accounting theory.

Responsibilities:
    Assist the in the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing with main focus in mine production, costing, and management reporting aspect of closing.
    Responsible for the generation and analysis of various financial reports such as Executive Management Report, Flash Report, and Cash Cost Report and preparation of the monthly performance highlights of the company.
    Maintain accounting control for recording production inventories and by products which includes valuation and costing of closing inventory at mine site and cost of goods sold.
    Maintain accounting control recording and reconciling sales, shipments and accounts receivable trade.
    Conducts financial evaluation of business initiatives (cost & revenue ideas), project evaluation and other ad hoc financial analysis tools to aid Management in making business decision.
    Reviews and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
    Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
    Responsible for the creation of new FSG Reports and modification of an existing FSG Reports as per user's requirements.
    Responsible in preparing the quarter and annual financial statements in audit format.
    Analysis and reviewing of financial data that reflects actual finance performance.
    Assists the department in carrying out special reports, financial evaluation studies, and other special assignments as required by the company.
