Job Description Provide analytical support and business advice to area. Undertake financial modeling or use appropriate analytical tools to support analysis, recommendations and/or management decisions. Prepare periodic Management reports which translate the performance of the Area into tangible results (physical and financial) to support decision making. Reports should support decision making. Compare actual performance with budget/forecast and analyze variance. Present/share performance results to the leadership team of the Area and ensure this assists in decision making. Support the Area in identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency. This should be done by performing inter firm/plant comparisons and other benchmarking techniques. Set up, with proper understanding of the processes, KPI’s for the Area including the methodology and timing for monitoring/reporting these. Ensure the system is aligned with the overall strategy of the area and at the organization level. Closely interact with the Area on a daily basis to understand the operational parameters and translate the same into financial parameters. Introduce continuous improvement and cost awareness programs at different levels of area management including the shop floor. Actively promote cost awareness within the Area. Assist Area Management in the preparation of strategic plan, annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts. Ensure that SAP CO monthly activities for the area are undertaken and reported to Area Management. This should be performed in conjunction with the Forecasting and Reporting Analyst. QUALIFICATION Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Costing or Finance. Additional technical qualification related to the area is preferred. Member of a relevant and recognized professional body. Preferably holds a Master in Business Administration degree, or other postgraduate degree relevant to the position EXPERIENCE 2 to 3 years experience in business analysis and performance in a similar industry.
