Regional Cargo Sales Support Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

• Bachelors in Computer Science / Business studies or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of systems implementation or support experience of SAP MM involving configuration, development, and/or technical or functional testing.

The Senior System Analyst SAP MM will be a subject matter expert and key liaison between SAP MM consultant and QAPCO internal MM users for the SAP Implementation and post implementation support of MM modules. His main responsibility is to advise the best practices for the successful implementation of SAP MM / Ariba and providing post live support.

TASKS PERFORMED
• Acts as a subject matter expert, Change agent and key liaison player between internal and external teams in all phases of SAP MM solution implementation.
• Supervises, coordinates and organizes the activities of SAP MM consultants to ensure project needs, priorities, and deadlines are met and the solution is intact with QAPCO business needs.

Well Intervention - Integrity Engineer - BP - Oman

They will work with our internal customers (sub-surface team, especially base management) to select, define and progress intervention & integrity projects. They will liaise with production engineers, field operations personnel and others to ensure that these projects are engineered appropriately & prioritized to meet region’s AOP.

They will supply our Well Site Leaders with written programs which will guide them through project execution. During this time they will remain available to provide clarification, advice and additional engineering project design required which could include a site visit.

The role is field based and rotational with the candidate spending two weeks in the field, working every day, and two weeks off. Reporting to the Security Manager, the FSC will be responsible for BP’s security in the field. Therefore, the role will require a person who has the attributes, including maturity, drive and physical fitness, to work with minimal supervision in a desert environment.

Not only will the candidate be responsible for day-to-day supervision of security implementation and the guard force, they will also be expected to work closely with BP functions and liaise with contractors, community members and government agencies, such as the ROP. Therefore, excellent interpersonal skills will be required.

Key accountabilities Adopt responsibility for BP’s field security; Support and implement the BP Oman security strategy and Contractors Security Requirements for mitigating security risks in the field; Act as the security focal point between different BP functions in the field; Provide security liaison and linkages with the local Royal Oman Police, military and security personnel of other relevant industries and businesses; Support emergency response events and incidents; Manage and supervise the guard force, spread out over several field locations. Essential Education NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in a suitable Engineering discipline.

Reporting to a Production Supervisor, the Production Technician forms an important part of early operations engagement on the Khazzan Project.

The early focus of the role is to embed practical operating experience into the detailed design and development of the day to day operating practices of the Khazzan development, to ensure that the facility can be successfully operated to the required standards.

As the project progresses the role will develop into a coaching position; developing national staff to the level required by BP to support the Khazzan asset.

The role presents a rare opportunity to be part of establishing a new operating centre, which will aspire to the highest operating standards, comparable with the best of BP facilities worldwide.

The early stages of the role will see it based primarily at the Engineering contractors offices. During the later stages of Execute the role will be based at the Khazzan onshore gas processing facility and be involved with the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities.

Key accountabilities Input to ensure that the Khazzan project is designed and built to the highest standards of safety and plant reliability.
Take a major role in the development of the plant Site Operating Procedures, and the development of Task based Procedures.

This is primarily a Safety Coaching role to help transform the mind-set and behaviours, a Step-Change, required from the personnel working on the Sneferu to deliver an Incident and Accident Free safety culture and workplace.

accepted by Company, and is required to have all certifications who is needed working on
wellsite.

• International well control certificate (IADC/IWCF).
• Health certificate.
• Breathing Apparatus, OPITO HUET, IPITO Sea Survival, firefighting certificate.

Work Scope of Personnel
Should have abundant knowledge and experiences of all the activities involved but not limited in drilling preparation, drilling operation, cement aspect, drilling fluid aspect, direction drilling aspect. Drilling superintendent should provide technical support and consultancy on wellsite. Scope of work as below, but not limiting to:
Before drilling operation
• According to well history and geological prognosis of the block, offset well information, drilling superintendent should analysis, summaries up well history, master overview and key point in every stage before operation start.
• Review drilling design according to their experience and analysis of well history.
• Participate in the preparation for spud-in inspection on behalf of Company.
• Complete other work arranged by Company.
Drilling operation
• Drilling superintendent should provide technical support and consultancy on wellsite for all drilling operation according to drilling design, from HSE aspect, schedule of drilling program aspect, cost aspect, quality aspect.

Senior Petrophysicist Exploration - OOCEP - Oman

Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP) is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Petrophysicist for the Joint Ventures Team major operated assets.  Reporting to the Exploration Team Lead the role will be based in Muscat- Sultanate of Oman.

Job Responsibilities & Activities
To provide high quality petrophysical interpretation results and give technical program, advice, suggestions for commercial, technical and operating decisions
• Creation and/or evaluation “QA/QC” of logging programs acquisition (e.g. conventional and non conventional); and supervising such activities.
• Hands on log interpretation (and supervision of interpretation) of conventional and non conventional logs (FMI, Segma, VSP, NMR, etc) including cased hole logging (e.g. production log).
• Set up core analysis programme for wells to be cored.
• Define FWL using pressure data and built SHF model using MICP.
• Hands on stand alone or in team integration of PP data in subsurface reservoir characterizations for both development and exploration (lead, prospect) type.
• Calculation of reservoir volumetric (risked and un-risked) parameters such as saturation, porosity, m and n factors, etc; both manually or using software.
• Performing Value Of Information analysis and cost analysis on subject related to petro-physical data acquisition or analysis.
• Attend Technical Committee Meetings on behalf of OOCEP as and when required to cover for PP elements (both exploration or production).
• Coach young Omani Graduate working in OOCEP and build robust technical training program for them.
• Ensure deployment of new technology (including new software) in the PP arena and align such technology to OOCEP and its partner and subseries.
• Play an active role in PP discussion raising OOCEP profile by participating in international geo-science conference and workshop.
• Provision of stand in PP support to the Exploration Studies Manager as and when needed
• Ability to work on a variety of tasks in addition to traditional PP/evaluation responsibilities such as presentations for internal and external audiences, farm-in evaluations and assessment of production sharing contracts and joint operating agreements within the realm of Development and Exploration as well as creation and review of PP related contract (e.g. software contract).
• Evaluates production logs (PLT, TDT), monitors and interprets fluids movements in the reservoir and liaises with Reservoir Engineers, as required.
• Establishes and maintains records of raw and computerized Petrophysical data and provides data for the Petrophysical well data base (digitized log and core data).
• Expertise on the following software: Techlog
• Keeps abreast of technological development in the field of Petrophysics. Attends conferences, seminars and reviews technical periodicals.
• Stand-by / on-call duties when required; and
• Any other related tasks that you are asked to do.

Minimum Requirements of Education, Experience, Skills
• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Geosciences. Masters degree would be an advantage.
• 10+ years of Petrophysical Engineering experience within the oil industry, service company or producer within the Middle East region
• Sufficient exposure is required in logging operations, core measurements, laboratory experiment follow up, data interpretation, and logging contractor follow up and integrated reservoir studies

Chemist - Abu Dhabi Gas Industries - GASCO - United Arab Emirates

Chemist reports to the Senior Chemist/Laboratory Section Head. Habshan and Bab Gas Complex, with 9 trains, is considered amongst the largest gas plants under single management in the world. The Plant receives feed gas from ADCO and the products of the Plant include sales gas (transferred to ADCO for reinjection and to ADWEA for water and electricity production) as well as condensate, sulphur (transferred to Takreer) and NGL (transferred to Ruwais). Habshan-Bab undergoes major expansions as well as implementation of a large number of technical projects.

Chemist has frequent contact with Shift Controllers and maintenance staff. The Chemist's duties include efficiently scheduling staff to perform a full analysis cover for the whole of the assigned plant complex. Assists in the analysis of special samples
that require specific expertise using various sophisticated analytical instrumentation.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To supervise all activities of subordinates in the Gasco Habshan & Bab Laboratory, with regard to analytical determinations of all process stream and product samples using internationally accepted Standard Analysis Methods and to HSE guidelines.
• To monitor all final product analysis data entries to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Business Objects reporting software with regard to product specifications.
• To monitor the plant operation and inform Senior Chemist/Laboratory Section Head of abnormal operating parameters that may be prevailing.
• To investigate any anomalies in laboratory analysis and or operating parameters that may be prevailing, informing Senior Chemist/Laboratory Section Head of these abnormal conditions.
• To perform data entries in to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) at the assigned plant complex.
• To perform limited maintenance and modifications to the LIMS and the associated Business Object's report generating software.
• To train and develop the assigned staff with emphasis to UAE Nationals.
• To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as policies and procedures
• To co-ordinate with Senior Chemist/Laboratory Section Head with regard to analysis schedule test runs, shutdowns, start-ups, technical surveys and inspection-related analysis of sludge and scales for corrosion control and ISO 17025 activities.
• To compile/provide input for preparation of division/department Capital, Operating and 5 Year Plan budgets, and monitor/control expenditure.

To review, replenish assigned materials groups and evaluate respective offers for inventory stock to meet the normal plants operations and shutdown demands.

Accountabilities:
·         To use effectively the Materials and Maintenance Management System by running and analyzing the respective reports in order to carry out the Inventory Control functions.
·         To ensure timely preparation of replenishment requisitions, Call-Off Purchase Orders, verify buying descriptions, for assigned groups, and to approve the replenishment requisitions as per the FDOA.

·         To recommend for new stock items the stock set up levels, necessary codes, purchasing method and other inventory data in coordination with the Plants users.
·         To carry out Stock Reviews in order to define the items classification and to ensure that the optimum inventory levels are maintained through identification of dead and obsolete items.
·         To analyze the inventory requisitions, for assigned groups, by manufacturer and by commodity in order to establish different types of Purchase Agreements to minimize stock holding and better delivery.
·         To review non-moving and slow moving items for assigned groups coordinate with maintenance and initiate inventory data clean ups, write-off action.

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
·         Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering Discipline
·         5 years of experience in Material related activities including at least 3 years in Inventory/Stock Check in an Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry and 2 years in maintenance or operations in Oil and Gas industry.
