Logistic Supervisor - Muscat - Oman

Role: - Responsible for the organisation of all matters related to transport and plant in their field. -Responsible for providing efficient logistics services in full accordance with contract specifications. - Shall report directly to Site Manager and funtionally to Head Logistics. Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or automotive engineer qualified to BSC level. Experience: Minimum of 10years of relevant experience, 5years of which shall have been gained in the middle East. -He shall have at least 5years experience in a managerial position. -A background in the management of the servicing maintenance and repair of the range of contract vehicles plant and equipment is essential. General: High level proficiency in the use of data management and computer software programmes for maintenance activities. Knowledge of logistics and inventory management. Excellent communications and man management skills. Particular: Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills. Principal Accountabilities: Reporting to the Site Manager Provide governance for the overall logistic and plant maintenance, to increase productivity. Process owner for the logistic and maintenance managment system.
