Material Controller - Sour Services - Muscat - Oman

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum college diploma / HNC in an Engineering Discipline. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5years in engineering discipline. Experience with production engineering is desirable. Proficiency in the use of PC's and data management software. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: -Own of project materials (Non-Stock and Stock) taking responsibility of procurement and delivered for the assigned projects. -Ensure that all the project materials are procured on time and delivered to site meeting and construction schedule. - Provide report to the project engineer on status of procurement/delivery (materials tracking sheets for individual projects) -Coordinate with project engineers, design consultant, and procurement department to ensure timely availability of materials. -Participate in material review with Project engineers, buyer, vendors, and contractors. -Coordinate with site materials controller and construction department or contractors to resolve materials issue in consultation with project engineer. -Update and verify the contractor material shortage list through material coordinator. -To clear all the material shortages which are identified by the contractor? -To reconcile materials for the completed projects with the contractor (through interior materials controller). -To obtain and collate SPIRS from vendors and liaise with UEC/41 to ensure input into system. -To fully utilise surplus materials and stock items to maximise cost saving.
