Job Description Graduates / Diploma holders with a minimum experience of 2 years in procurement, preferably in trading or a manufacturing company.
•To coordinate administrative and operational aspects of purchasing division.
•Prepare purchase orders and keep track of incoming and outgoing orders.
•Negotiating prices with suppliers.
•Handle inquiries on order status, cancellation or changes.
•Assist in selection of appropriate suppliers.
•Promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability and ethical purchasing standards.
•To ensure that purchases arrive on schedule.
•Stay abreast of new processes, technologies, materials, purchasing methods and market conditions.
•Follow up on customers on overdue payment.
•Work under the direction and supervision of procurement.
•Facilitate team meetings by preparing supporting documents, market research and analysis. Traveling to meet suppliers in GCC countries.
