Shop Manager - Azadea group - Seef Mall - Bahrain

Job Description
Role Purpose
 The Shop Manager is responsible for managing the storeoperations and staff in order to deliver the highest standards of customerservice and maximize sales and profitability in line with company's objectives.

 Key Accountabilities
 1.Solve critical store operationalproblems including customer’s complaints, in order to operational effectivenessand to increase customer's satisfaction.
 2. Assist in recruiting and selecting shop staff by verifying job-fit andteam-fit of candidates.
 3. Manage annual allocated budget by monitoring expenditure up to set limits,optimizing and reducing costs where possible and reporting variances versusbudget.
 4. Ensure the stock is effectively measured , controlled and manage orderplacement activities to maximize sales and meet stock performance objectives.
 5. Monitor the shop hourly revenue and prepare staff schedule accordingly inorder to ensure that the shop/department manpower is effectively matched tooperational requirements in a cost effective manner.
 6. Prepare management information reports on store performance in order toallow informed decision making.
 7. Ensure the effective communication of sales plans and targets to theshop/department team, managing performance, developing and motivating employeesin order to ensure the highest level of performance and achievement orexceeding of sales targets.
 8. Manage shop events and marketing activities by ensuring proper coordinationwith suppliers, media and other concerned parties.
 9. Perform other shop related activities such as overseeing the shopmerchandising, verifying the cleanliness, display and maintenance of the shopwindow, placing orders and others
