Job Description • The incumbent to provide company wide support for high speed data communication network infrastructure comprises of local area networks and wide area network linking Abu Dhabi and Das Island interfaces with ADNOC group network and the internet. The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting and monitoring network services like internet access, remote access, video conferencing and voice over IP which are critical to ADGAS business and employee productivity with high level of availability and performance.

• Participate in the design and implementation of the expansion and upgrade of ADGAS network infrastructure to meet the business needs. Coordinate with other IT departments to provide network services for implementing new IS solutions, assure security of ADGAS data assets and corporate information
• Experience in the configuration, installation, support and administration of Windows 2003/2008 Servers. Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol suite is required. Experience on network services such as DNS, DHCP. Experience in network Management is a must.
• Experience in the configuration, installation, support and managing of Cisco switches, Routers, Access control server and Wireless solutions. Knowledge of network monitoring software, IDS, Internet/ Internet security.
• Experience in the configuration, support and managing Firewalls
• Experience in the configuration, support and managing URL filtering solutions
• Makes visit to Das Island as required to resolve any data network issue.

Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile • Should hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree in similar discipline with specialization in networking.
• A minimum of 5 years experience supporting large corporate data networks based on LAN/WAN. Installation and maintenance of network equipment preferably CISCO, Enterprise Network Management Systems.
• CCNP certificate
• Very good standard of English.
