Sales Engineer-Project Engineer-QA/QC Supervisor - (Al-Hidd) - Bahrain

• You will develop sales and provide quality customer service
• Attend to customers' enquiry, prepare and submit quotations
• Attend to customers' complaint, feedback to workshop and provide solutions to customers
• Co-ordinate with workshop to ensure jobs are completed according to schedule and specifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• 2-3 years of sales experience in industrial sales, preferably in the oilfield engineering services industry. Candidates without oilfield engineering sales experience but display a positive attitude will be considered whilst candidates who have more years of working experience will be considered for senior position
• Familiarity with ASME/ API standards will be an added advantage
• Results-oriented, possess good client relationship management and negotiation skills
• You must have a valid driving license and possess own transport

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform inspection of incoming products, materials or customer items according to job order, such as
-measure and record the dimension of components/parts using measuring instruments and analyse the findings for discrepancy;
-perform non destructive test or hardness test (if necessary) and analyze findings and raise report where necessary;
-take photographs of the components/parts for recording purposes.
2. Perform initial inspection and raise report.
3. Perform in-process inspection according to procedures and customer's specifications. Raise report whenever necessary.
4. Perform final inspection of items including dimensional, NDT and hardness to ensure that all quality requirements or API specifications have been achieved. Analyse result and decide the acceptance level of the final product.
5. Raise non-conformance report and submit to Immediate Supervisor.
6. Interact with customers and attend to their needs.
7. Prepare test procedure whenever needed.
8. Prepare Data Book upon completion of jobs.
9. File and update all quality records in the department.
10. Prepare and maintain calibration record of measuring devices.
11. Maintain daily housekeeping at workplace.
12. Maintain working tools and equipment in good condition.
13. Follow safe work practices in all aspect of work.
14. Perform any other related duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:
• Technical Diploma with relevant working experience in quality control
• Familiarity with ASME/ API /ISO standards

Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Execute jobs as per work orders
2. Prepare Process Control Travellers as per assigned work order
3. Ensure necessary drawings or work scope are available for production
4. Communicate with the section heads for the respective scope of works and delivery date
5. Notify commercial and his immediate Supervisor for any additional work recommended subsequent to original work order
6. Notify QC for process inspection and follow up to ensure work is carried out
7. Communicate or attend to customers as and when necessary
8. Monitor and responsible to deliver the committed work schedule
9. Manage the costing of each assigned work orders
10. Report job status highlight to his Managers for any jobs that are behind schedule; take corrective actions to catch up the completion date
11. Provide weekly work progress update to customer as instructed
12. Ensure work scopes are followed strictly by the respective section heads
13. Ensure quality of repaired/manufactured items e.g. test results, paint surface finish, protection coat are met prior to delivery
14. Ensure work scope is carried out in compliance to the Quality (ISO and API) and Occupational Safety & Health Systems and Procedures.
15. Responsible for process improvement to achieve quality and delivery targets
16. Liase with vendors, suppliers or sub-contractor (raise purchase requisition and follow up on delivery as well as quality according to specifications)
17. Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor
