Responsible for the overall management of our Passenger Services Department, ensuring that the services rendered, work processes and procedures are consistently of a high standard and in accordance with the IATA, customer airlines’ and other regulatory authorities’ guidelines, requirements and Service Level Agreements.
Managing over 300 employees, the candidate will also play a significant role in the identification and development of strategic plans to improve the department’s operational performance and thereby enhance the company's customer service standards.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in traffic services or aviation operations with at least 5 years of managerial experience
• Expert knowledge of passenger handling operational procedures
• Decisive and collaborative leadership style
• Superior planning, analytical, organizational and computer skills
• Effective communication skills in order to manage a large and diverse multicultural workforce
• Result oriented with the ability to identify areas of improvement required at all levels within the department and effect prompt implementation
• High customer service focus
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic and other languages is an advantage
