Manager of Strategy And Development - Bahrain

Our client, a Middle East based insurance company is looking for a Manager of Strategy and Development to join their team in Bahrain. The successful candidate has to promote expansions into Gulf territories, in addition to being a project leader of each expansion.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a robust competitor and market intelligence systems.
• Understand the vision for plugging gaps and overcoming barriers in each expansion market.
• Produce, place and manage new strategies for expansion of products in new territories as appropriate.
• Develop strategy, as well as business development plan and implementation schedule for each territory.
• Capitalize on networking opportunities to facilitate business development as well as participate in community activities.

Requirements:
• University degree in Finance and Insurance, ideally, professional Insurance certifications like AIII, Fill or ACII.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in the development of insurance business in the GCC, preferably with some Takaful coverage experience.
• Proven track record in strategy and business development within Banking or as a management consultant, or Business Development Manager of a larger corporate.
