Accounting Officer - Smeet - Qatar

General Purpose
General accounting; including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, account and bank reconciliations and preparation of management information. Assist the Finance Manager and other department members in carrying out the responsibilities of the finance department.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
- General ledger operations
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Account/bank reconciliations
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
- Coordinate with the Finance Manager on other duties that may be asked due to the workflow
