Job Description: Prepare Contract Appreciation Document (CAD); obtain approval from HO for the same.
Prepare applications for PAC (Project Authority Certificates for Regulatory exemptions and Benefits) for equipments/materials.
Review construction program with respect to contractual conditions.
Monitoring of the construction plan every month with impacted schedule with respect to contractual conditions. Analysis of deviations from contractual conditions and provision of recommendations to project management team. Ongoing correspondence with Head office on the above. Obtain inputs regarding actual progress of work, analyze for probable claims/obligations/risks. Follow up with QS Department for inclusion of all measurements, claims, variation in IPA. Keeping track of and formulating claims, variations etc.
Presenting/defending claims/ counterclaims before DRB
Ongoing study of correspondence (including NCR) from client, routing issues to concerned persons/functions.

Periodic meetings with client counterparts and maintaining records/ minutes of such discussions. Documentation of all client correspondence (incoming and outgoing). Documentation and Reporting. Maintain contemporary records like jointly signed hindrances, equipment and manpower deployed. Prepare monthly comprehensive reports as per ISO procedures and send to Head Office. Day to day communication with Head office and project works team on contractual matters and discussions with clients. Attend DRB meetings and maintain records of discussions at the same. Ongoing performance monitoring, coaching, mentoring and technical assistance to subordinates. Support Employee Involvement programs, Welfare measures and initiatives aimed at enhancing motivation and morale. Address grievances of subordinates, redirecting them to higher authority in case of complications. Provide Inputs for Performance management and identification of training needs.
