Job Description: To perform welding task as instructed by workshop supervisor and/or workshop foreman. To comply with all Health, Safety and Environment as well as work permit, policies and procedures. To carry out a wide variety of welding, cutting and brazing work as per technical specification and safety standards and regulations. To prepare work and assist in performing welding tests as required by the inspection section. To comply with the correct use of PPE for self and co-workers during hot work. To perform housekeeping activities for maintaining the welding areas in neat and tidy conditions. To perform routine maintenance on welding and cutting tools and equipment, reporting and defect to the supervisor. To provide maintenance on welding and cutting tools and equipments, reporting defect to the supervisor. To provide instruction to meet competence base training programs for UAE Nationalization. To maintain skill and knowledge of new techniques used in welding, with regard to the lack of available technical material and manuals.
