Duties and Responsibilities: -To provide, with full responsibility and accountability, construction supervision and management services in the areas of electrical works ensuring that all construction work in the project in this regard are in conformation to the Contract Specifications and in compliance with the latest Codes, Standards, Procedures, Practices, International and Corporation requirements and procedures. Carries out the duties and responsibilities of supervision for all electrical work with respect to Power Distribution System (both high voltage and low voltage) including sub-stations, cabling, external and internal lighting to buildings, equipment and machines, infrastructures and loading terminals. -Manages and coordinates all contractors/consultants at site to achieve the goal of project completion within time, quality and budget. Recommends appropriate solutions and proposes changes as necessary. -Assists the project team in review/approval of the documents such as equipment/manpower mobilization programmer, construction programmer, shop drawings, work method statement, etc. submitted by contractors/consultants. -Ensures implementation of plans and programs and takes necessary action in case of any lapse and/or lagging. -Attends meetings with contractors, consultants, and vendors to review progress on weekly or more frequent basis as required -Analyzes and addresses critical areas of progress/delays in construction, procurement, resource mobilization and any other areas shortcomings. -Validates and certifies progress/final claims of contractors/consultants. Reviews and comments on pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up procedures and Operating and Maintenance manuals, appropriate to his functional area of work. -Reports to the Lead Construction Supervisor. -Appropriate to own background, participates in the training and development of Qatari Engineers.

Profile Knowledge, Skills and Experience: -Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from an internationally recognized University. -Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years overall experience in design, fabrication and erection of Electrical power Distribution (HV & LV) Systems for Port and Oil & Gas projects having strong knowledge in construction management. -Minimum 4 years experience should have been working in a construction environment with an Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning (EPIC) Contractor holding a similar position. -Experience of working in the Arabian Countries is desirable.
