Objective Summary : -Design / detail Engineering and Construction Engineering activities for Piping / Pipeline components for the project(s) assigned, in accordance with the Company established procedures. - Assigning responsibilities to Engineers & Draftsmen, activity planning, work scheduling and monitoring to meet the project schedule with resource optimization. - Development of project specific specifications, piping layouts, design calculation, stress analysis, procurement specification & material engineering, field engineering. Interface with other disciplines, user departments and Clients. - Responsible for Estimation (Engineering & fabrication m’hrs, material cost) for MIS bids Principle duties and responsiblities : - Activity planning, work scheduling and monitoring. Inter disciplinary checks & co-ordination - Guiding in the preparation of Plot plans, Equipment layouts, Piping layouts and reviewing - Guiding and reviewing the Design calculations, Piping Stress Analysis. - Preparation of Design basis, Project specific specifications for EPC projects and other projects involving Basic / Detail engineering. Feasibility studies and Tender document preparation. - Material Engineering which includes preparation of Purchase specifications, Purchase requisitions, Technical bid analysis, Vendor document / drg evaluation after order - Construction engineering activities including MTO’s, shop drgs and job package prepartion and issue. - Site survey for jobs & bids, co-ordination with internal departments, Clients & Inspection Agencies - Review of bid enquiry documents and clarifications / qualifications, estimation activities like MTO, Fabrication m’hr, Engineering m’hr and Material cost estimates

Profile: - Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering - 10 to 12 years in the Oil & Gas Design Engineering - Well experienced in Plot plans, Equipment layouts & Piping layouts. - Well experienced in Plot plans, Equipment layouts & Piping layouts. - Sound knowledge of ASME B31.3 / B31.4 / B31.8 - Sound knowledge of Piping Materials & Valves and ASTM / ANSI / API / BS Stds - Excellent communication skills & proficiency in English.
