Manager of Process Control In this role you will lead a team of professionals and be responsible for: • The entire technical effort within the Cast House as it pertains to supplying a wide range of primary sheet ingot and extrusion ingot alloys to a third party customer base. • Establishing and managing the Process Control Systems and Metallurgical Procedures to meet customer requirements. • Managing the technical interface between the Cast House and its customers in a manner ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. • Ensuring that from a technical standpoint the Cast House maintains a leading edge position by fostering an environment of continuous process improvement by ensuring application of state of the art metal cleaning, solidification and homogenising technologies. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: • A Honours Bachelors Degree in either Metallurgy, Material Sciences or Applied Chemistry and subsequently a Masters Degree in one of these disciplines. • A minimum of 10 years post graduation experience in a non-ferrous industrial environment, preferably in primary Aluminium Casting Plants where the principal products have been Sheet Ingot and Extrusion Ingot. • Proven leadership and communication skills having been demonstrated in these environments.
