Senior Site Architect - Kuwait

Job Description To supervise the works of relevant Contractors to ensure quality and construction are in accordance with drawings, specifications and local regulations. Act as a focal point to the Client and to the Resident Engineer.
Reviews Contractor's staff qualifications and CV's to ensure that they are qualified for the Project at hand.
Reviews sub-contractors pre-qualifications and inspect their shop / factory where required.
Reviews materials to ensure that they are in accordance with the specifications. Co-ordinate with the Head of Department of Design / Design Staff and obtain their comments prior to actioning where required.
Reviews shop drawings to ensure that they are in accordance with the design and that they are co-ordinated with other disciplines on site. Where applicable, receive feedback from the Site Engineer / Inspector or design office and incorporate their comments;

Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile Skills
• Prior experience of working in the Middle East in a must.
• 10 to 15 years post graduate experience in an architectural practice with proven exposure to supervision
• Professional Registration in the country of origin and with Kuwait Society of Engineers is preferred.
• Advanced technical writing and communication skills and fluency in the English language.
• Knowledge of the Arabic language would be an added advantage.

Education
Bachelor degree or Diploma in Architecture. Masters degree would be preferred.
