Job Description Reviews and monitors the system processes within the Information Technology Department with a view to constant improvement in efficiencies. Develops departmental internal IT policies. Exercises quality assurance and monitors all processes and systems across the IT department. Seeks to optimise processes in the Information Technology Department. Ensures scheduled releases are released as per schedule. Ensures exact procedural path for quality assurance is followed on all aspects of development testing and implementation of the systems. Analyses the quality of It processes and implements policies and controls to facilitate IT activities with minimal roll out. Receives Corporate Quality directives from Information Security and Quality Assurance Department. Corporate Quality and relates to activities of the Information Technology Department. Develops implements and maintains quality policies for all aspects of information Technology within the Information Technology Department Liases with Information Security and Quality Assurance Department on corporate quality issues and policies and implements relevant policies or policies changes in the information Technology Department.
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile A university degree in Information Systems or similar qualification is required. Project management Prince II or PMI are requried in a financial service culture preferably banking. A least 5-6 years experience in Information systems with a minimum of 4 years in quality management. Ability to write Technical /Functional Specifications is essential. Proven program documentation expertise is required A good understanding of a programming language and database technologies is required.
