Junior Estimation Engineer Kingston Management - Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates

Review of awarded contracts / commercial terms/ tender qualifications- comparison with the bid documents- coordination with the customer & estimation- propose contract amendments, if required- Recommend for contract execution.

Review of bid cost summary- detailed analysis- Interaction with Estimation- Standardizing the format for effective cost and variations tracking based upon the implications and intricacies of individual projects. Participate in project hand over kick-off meeting between Operations and Estimation- contribute in better understanding of the scope (technical/ commercial/ qualifications/ unit rate structure etc)- interact with engineering/ project management/ estimation/ QAQC in order to achieve effective hand over of the project to Operations. Assist operations in procurement of material, award of sub-contracts and other major commitments/negotiations - Structure the contract (technical & commercial) with vendors stipulating the terms and conditions of the contract/ purchase order in line with the main contract protecting the interests of the company.
Suggest changes, as appropriate for effective and efficient execution of projects resulting in increase in revenue and/or reduction in cost.
Cost tracking/ project cost control- Implementation of effective system- Periodical reporting & Presentation to the management.
Variations management- Tracking of the scope/ preparation of documents in support of variations- Coordination with Engineering & Operations management- Submission of change order request - Participate in meetings & negotiate with the customer- Follow-up for the smooth close-out/ securing contract amendment/ variation order.
Identify project claims- Preparation of supportive documents- Negotiation with customer.
Invoicing management- securing progress reports from Operations/ submission of invoices in terms of the contract.
Participate in project close-out meetings- Submission of project close-out report- Analyze outcome- Recommend changes for improvement in various areas.
Contribute in the submission of major tenders.
Development, implementation, maintenance and documentation of polices and procedures of Contracts and Commercial division.
Pre Contract Management.
Tenders and Contracts Management.
Review of Contractual Documents and Tender Documents.
Preparation of Tender Evaluation and Analysis.
Review of all Contractual Documents and Preparing Service Level Agreements with Various Contractors.
