Minimum Academic Qualifications
Should be a graduate or a diploma holder in Civil Engineering /Quantity Surveying/Architecture
Minimum years of On- The- Job Experience
A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a similar project management role preferably for a retail/leisure industry company or project management company.
Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, key responsibilities of the role will include:
Project manage various store openings, closure and refurbishments from inception to completion.
Prepare, manage and monitor all project implementation plans/schedules in MS Project.
Prepare schematic store layouts in line with brand requirements.
Prepare initial BOQ’s and cost estimates for all store designs.
Interact with brand representative to develop and complete store/unit designs.
Prepare and collate all tender and internal approval documentation.
Prepare and award store designs for refurbishment and new stores.
Manage the interface between MAF Ventures and Landlord to ensure appropriate site conditions are delivered in line with agreed programmes.
Provide day to day management of the project until final completion and hand over.
Manage on site contractors to ensure on time and within budget delivery to the required quality and safety standards.
Manage and control the change management process on site ensuring appropriate authorization is achieved prior to implementation of change.
Perform appropriate client checks on third party materials/supplies/fixtures/equipment and delivery timetables ensuring compliance with design, creative, quality and operational requirements
Manage project costs within a pre-approved budget.
Liaise with contractors/subcontractors ensuring on time and below budget delivery.
Produce weekly reports on the status of the project, cost reports and variations / analysis.
Provide regular feedback with regard to project and package status (programme and costs)
