Job Description Job Description
1. Prepares and/or coordinates the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work.
2.Reviews proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
3.Prepares discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
4.Maintains files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, price lists, etc.
5.Supports other department personnel as required may include preparing estimates in other disciplines.
6.Reviews design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.
7.Co-ordinates and undertakes the review and generation of Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation.
8.Co-ordinates and undertakes the interpretation & review of system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.
9.Develop tender cost summaries including equipment, materials and labour calculations for final approval.
10.Prepare reports and supporting documents to submit to Proposal Manager to identify areas requiring more information to ensure the Company is positioned to win and secure bids.
11.Co-ordinates the preparation of tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data.

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 to 15 Years
of experience in estimation of Oil & Gas Construction and
Maintenance works
Experience 15 - 20 years
Education Basic - Diploma , Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
Nationality Indian
