Job Description: Reviewing Analysis and Design Artifacts. Identify Test and Business Data requirements. Develop and Execute test scripts from functional specs/ Use Case documentation. Identify and prioritize the test scenarios required. Report progress against the plan and report on issues arising as required by the team lead. Ensure that test deliverable is consistent with the business scope and functional specifications. Fits in quickly with the teams and develops effective and supportive relationships with colleagues.
Desired Candidate's Profile:Profile A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related Scientific or Technical Disciplines.
Industry standard certifications in Testing / SQA such as CSQA, CSTE, are a plus.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage both time and work load without constant supervision. A qualification in IT with 3 years relevant experience is required. Knowledge in Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset Management, Investment banking (Testing of Banking product). Experience in Testing Core Banking systems (Systematics, especially modules like GN, IM, ST, RO, IR, ALS), ATM/ Switching Technologies (IST Switch), Card Management systems, Brokerage applications, Internet Banking, Telephone Banking & Call Center solutions (SIEBEL), Wholesale Banking Solutions (MIDAS, City Dealer, Plato, FX etc), EFT solutions (STELINK, Steria), Teller Applications, UCM & Data Warehouse Applications. Experience in using Automated Test Tools like Rational Test Studio/ Mercury Tools. Knowledge and experience of the full Testing Life cycle. Excellent Communications skills (both oral and written). Ability to speak read and write in Arabic, a plus.
Ability to independently resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Experience 5 - 15 years. Education Basic - Bachelor of Arts ( Maths , Economics ) , PG - Masters in Computer Application ( Computers ). Nationality Egyptian, Filipino, Indian, Pakistani. Gender Male
