As the General Manager of this beautiful hotel apartment which offers excellent accommodation and fantastic your main remit will be building and motivating the team to consistently deliver a high standard of service, as well as building strong relationships with the local community. This is a challenging but exciting role as you will assume full management responsibility using your all round management skills to lead by example, whilst using your industry knowledge to achieve key business targets and goals by developing the hotels revenue streams and planning and implementing a full business strategy. In addition to being responsible for the overall running of the Hotel, the Manager’s duties include:
Planning and organizing accommodation, catering and other hotel services. Promoting and marketing the business. Managing budgets and financial plans. Maintaining statistical and financial records. Achieving profit targets. Recruiting, training and developing staff. Planning work schedules. Meeting and greeting customers. Dealing with customer request. Addressing problems and troubleshooting. Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly. Supervising maintenance, supplies and furnishings. Dealing with contractors and suppliers. Ensuring security is effective. Carrying out inspections of property and services. Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
Profile The ideal candidate will currently be a Hotel Assistant / General Manager operating within the 4/5 Star market with a proven track record within the hotel industry and an extremely good understanding of all departments and their specific needs and requirements. As the General Manager you will of course be ambitious, driven and financially and commercially astute, with the presence and personality to influence every aspect of the day-to-day business and maximize the performance of your team. You will have a real energy, drive and passion to succeed and have the ability to rise to every challenge.
