Senior Contracts Officer - Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates

To provide hands on contract management to all Company divisions and develops pre- qualification/evaluation criteria and optimal contracting strategies. To co-ordinate with and proactively advise user departments on various contractual and commercial matters in the field. To provide interpretation to all parties concerned inside and outside the Company. To provide specialist input for day-to-day commercial and contractual administration for both procurement and drilling contracts while retaining specific responsibility for both minimization/evaluation of claims/requests for contract variations and maintains follow-up until the commercial closeout of contracts.

Profile Minimum Requirements a) B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline. b) 7 years experience in project/contract development and management, in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry, of which at least 3 years in specialized high value engineering contract preparation, negotiation, tendering and award procedures. c) Sound knowledge of commercial practices, legal aspects and negotiations skills. d) Computer literate and ability to utilize specialized applicable software packages. e) Fluent in written and spoken English f) Must have a valid UAE driving licence. g) Male h) Below 45 years old
