Purpose: Manage the financial reporting and control of the Wireline and International business units, and provide support for all special projects undertaken such as the Asian Games. Context: Wireline and International Services generate a significant proportion of the company’s revenues thus capturing and reporting on this area can add value to the company in terms of Forecasting, trend analysis etc. In addition the company frequently undertakes special projects such as the Asian Games where there is a requirement for accurate capture of financials. The role Manages a team of 3. • Monitor the financial performance of the Wireline & International business units and produce supporting analysis. • Provide input in formulating the strategic plan for the BU’s from a financial perspective, having analysed the appropriate data in order to make this input valuable and accurate. • Drive the preparation and consolidation of operating and capital expenditure budgets for the BU’s in line with strategy. • Ensure Capex justifications are financially viable. • Provide periodic reports to BU heads and operating managers with detailed performance analysis on revenue and expenses as against target and comments on variances. • Maintain budgetary control over capital and operating expenditure by monitoring actual/perspective against budget and providing reports to Wireline and International BU Heads in order for them to have accurate status reports for their individual areas. • Provide performance measurement information on a monthly and quarterly basis as required by the Wireline & International Business Units. • Co-ordinate resolution of and follow up on audit recommendations in conjunction with other managers within the Wireline and International BU’s. • Support group finance with data, analysis and reports on a timely and accurate basis as determined by the CFO in line with Business Requirements. • Establish review, monitor and report on the Financial & associated KPI’s for each Wireline & International BU’s in order for the BU’s to have a full and accurate picture of their performance on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. • Provide support to the Project Manager for each Special Project as required by them in support of their financial requirements for capture/monitoring/forecasting etc. as and when required. • Prepare a financial forecast based on trend analysis for the Wireline and International BU’s in order for them to be able to produce accurate and meaningful business plans for their units.

Profile Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge • 10 years of finance experience is required, with around 5 years in a similar management role. Telecom background is a must. • Knowledge of Oracle financials. • Strong financial analysis capability, ability to create financial models • Strong in cash and fund flow analysis. • Knowledge of financial spreadsheet modelling. Minimum Entry Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related discipline. • CPA / CIMA / CA qualification is absolutely mandatory
