Keys and responsibilities:- • Preparing crew sheets and vouchers for the purpose of documenting all activities between shipping lines and agents • Preparing shipping documents and coordination with destination agents for smooth clearance. • Coordinating with packers, transporters, shipping lines for the arrangement of logistic requirements • Undertaking client calls/contacts on current/potential clients as may be appropriate to solicit for business including making formal presentation and entertaining them when necessary. • Conducting pre-move survey, which includes introducing the organization, explaining move process and executing the required processes; submitting quotations after they are duly approved and ensuring that jobs are booked, payment terms are strictly implemented and outstanding/accounts receivables are within prescribed norms, in order to achieve/exceed set targets. • Entering data of daily transactions in the “packers” system for record maintenance. • Suggesting ways and means to constantly improve quality of packing, customer interaction and any other aspect, which will improve client acceptance for our services. • Handling professionally and effectively all complaints and taking appropriate steps to preclude recurrence toward quality of service. • Partly taking active role in all endeavours of P&R stream in order to ensure a unified and consistent delivery of service to valued clientele. • Processing payment vouchers to be forwarded to the respective shipping lines/transporters. Candidates must have the following requirements:- Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university. Expereince: With a minimum of three (3) years of operational experience in Packing and Removals and/or in shipping industries. Skills: The applicant should likewise possess customer-focused and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Exposure in basic MS-Office applications will be necessary. Must have Kuwait's Driving Licsense.
