SCOPE OF WORK Job Purpose: • Provide Technical and Maintenance support in the field of periodic and Major work Planning, Failure analysis, Plant Modifications, New Projects, Spare Parts Control, Evaluation of Maintenance Performance, Equipment Availability, Maintenance cost, participates in preparing the section budget and daily preparing work orders through the Maximo System, Supervise the execution of Major overhauls, specific repairs and trouble-shooting whenever necessary. • This covers the maintenance activities of all the electrical equipment associated with Company’s Oil and Gas production, Sortex, Logistics, Utilities, Loading Pumps, the primary HV electrical power distribution network and all work in all Electrical Substation of Das Island network. Principal Accountabilities: a. Ensures the adherence of all personnel in the section to Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental System (HSEMS).  Carries out his task in accordance with the prevailing operating and maintenance procedures. He shall comply with the Company and Best Industry Practices.  Ensures adherence to UAE/Local prevailing laws and regulations relating to electrical work.  Participates, when required in multi discipline teams to carryout Risk Assessment into activities requiring additional Safety Precautions.  Attends and if requires conduct safety meetings.  Carries out regular inspection of Substation and other electrical audits. b. Perform supervisory functions as established by management. c. Directs and controls through supervisors the maintenance of all electrical equipment within the Company oil/gas production, Storex, Logistics and Sewage Station areas. Setting quality and performance standards for all levels. Performs supervisory functions as established by management. d. Ensures that all electrical equipment installed in hazardous areas is suitable for the area classification. e. Performs when necessary high voltage switching and isolations and also issues and controls the use of Electrical and Hot/Cold work permits. f. Participates in preparing planned maintenance schedule for all electrical equipment within mandate to comply with statutory inspections and overhauls and to implement such schedules. Liaises with Maintenance Planning Engineer for necessary scheduling. g. Liaises with Engineering Division, for the preparation of specifications for new installation, advises Supervisor on items relating to electrical equipment in the capital budget including the requirement of the section. h. Initiate plant modification request including preparation of preliminary design suggestions and overseeing the installation/commissioning of approved modifications. i. Maintain continuous contract with other Department and Sections including utilities Production, Process, Services, and ADGAS both in relation to the operation and maintenance of power and back up supplies. j. Assists in the training of UAE National Graduates, both theoretically and practically on site and in the electrical workshop. k. Performs other related duties such as raising VAPs and Services orders, preparation of routine (daily) and special reports ensure proper update and maintenance of technical records, assisting other Electrical Engineering during emergencies. Work Relations: • Regular contacts with materials buyers up to Store Supervisor/Buyers level for ordering and resolving queries on purchase of consumables. • Regular Contact with Maintenance Planning Engineer for major maintenance coordinator. Latitude: • Reports to Plant Maintenance Section Leader and Major Maintenance Section leader. • Determines work methods according to professional standards and Company and procedures. Exercise latitude inn emergencies and keeps Supervisor advised of work progress.

Profile: Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering • 7 years experience in Electrical Engineering job with a major oil or petrochemical company dealing with high and low voltage switch gear, 2 years which in a supervisory capacity. • Very good knowledge of English. • Possession of Valid UAE driving license is essential
