Accounts Assistant - Revenue - Air Arabia - Sharjah - United Arab Emirates

Purpose
This role is responsible to assist in the maintenance of Air Arabia accounts; makes transactions in the books of account as directed

Main Responsibilities
• Preparation of the Receipts for all the payments received from the local & outstation customers and updates the same in the reservation system.
• Posting of the customer receipts in the Debtors Ledger & allocation of receipt to get the proper ageing analysis statement.
• Follow up with the customers for those payments which are not accounted by the company.
• Timely updation of agents receipts in the G9 Reservation System to avoid the system blockage.
• Reconcile UAE Agents balance in Reservation system Vs Book balance.
• Forward the sales Invoices to all local & outstation Invoices on F/N Basis along with the summary of sales to the GSA.
• Preparation of Debit Note for the various other services provided – eg. Visa/Holiday bookings etc.
• Preparation of Credit Notes for the GSA Commission on monthly basis.

Desired Profile
Graduate of Commerce / Accounting. At least 1 or 2 years of experience in a computerized accounting in a medium size company is essential. Experience working with an Airline/Travel Agency would be an added advantage. Good numerical reasoning ability is essential, together with detail consciousness and aptitude for following procedures. . Possesses sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals. Excellent computers skills, especially in Excel spread sheet.
