Logistics Superintendent - Obeikan Investment Group - Riyadh - Saudi Arabia

Major Work Task:
1. Provide logistics services in order to support effective provision of high quality services to the business.
2. Lead a team of logistics professionals to ensure reliable and cost effective supply chain across the business.
3. Implement work objectives and schedules for specific Logistics operations and / or processes in order to ensure that an effective service is provided to the business.
4. Lead, motivate and energize the logistics team to deliver high performance levels.
5. Develop operating standards to ensure the excellence of customer service and to manage all resources to ensure optimum utilization.
6. Communicate effectively across the whole Supply Chain to ensure the continuity and consistency of the operation.
7. Must be practice in managing the logistics function fulfilling the needs of all the divisions of the business that include land, transport, sea and air freight.
8. Schedule the best and effective routings for owned and contracted vehicles and trucks in the way that bring cost reduction along with customer satisfaction.
9. Maintain accurate data related to logistics activities in order to ensure that the statistics are established.
10. Identify and proposes improvements of procedures and should provide monthly reports with logistics costs.

• Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate technical information into basic understanding and ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a diversity of people at an individual and team level.
• Customer focused, both internally and externally.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Team player who enjoys working with diverse group of people, i.e. at all levels.

Computer Knowledge:
• Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• ERP experience e.g. BAAN, SAP etc.

Work Experience:
• 5 years in Logistics Operation and management.
