This is a key role in the school with responsibility for supporting
the Principal in shaping and implanting education strategy. The Head of
Secondary provides day to day leadership and management to ensure
effective delivery of quality education. Responsibilities will include
operational leadership, academic performance management, pastoral care,
involvement in staff recruitment, inductions and training.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and education management skills, able to demonstrate a track record in leadership and management. A Master’s degree or higher qualification in education plus teaching certification is essential. Knowledge of the US Curriculum, research based teaching practices and assessment for learning is also required. Due to the nature of the school only female candidates need apply.
