Maintenance - Premises Officer - Gulf International Bank - Bahrain

To ensure high quality maintenance services for the Bank’s building.
To represent the Bank with external parties such as consultants, contractors and suppliers.
To ensure that all maintenance contractors are performing their duties as per the related contracts terms and conditions.
To ensure competitive quotations, at least three as outlined in the Bank’s procurement manual are obtained as and when required in order to keep the maintenance cost as low as possible.
To ensure that Maintenance Contracts and Lease Agreements are properly in place and the necessary approvals are obtained on time as per the Bank’s outlined policies.
To review Maintenance Contracts and Lease Agreements, and negotiate better terms and conditions and lower prices whenever possible.
To ensure strict control over Maintenance and Premises Stores and periodical inspection of the same.
To carry out the physical inventory of the Bank's furniture and equipment in accordance with the Bank's outlined policies.
To ensure all electrical, mechanical, safety, and security installations are well maintained and functioning properly.
A relevant university degree in Engineering ( preferably BSc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
A relevant work experience of at least two years
Excellent communication skills
Reasonable negotiation skills
