Work closely with the Director – Compensation & Benefits and ensure management of all Remuneration, Reward planning initiatives including performance management, HR systems, and policies through review and development of policies, procedures, practices and programs for effective and efficient reward management.
• Provide inputs to the Section Head in the development of the reward Strategy and policies encompassing salaries, allowances, incentives, fixed and variable bonuses in order to ensure consistency and equity of Reward practices in the organization
• Work closely with the Section Head in developing organization compensation policy regarding salaries, allowances, incentives, fixed and variable bonuses as well as the organization benefits and welfare plans to ensure fair and consistency of practice in this area.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide advice and consultation to the line manager and business heads on the org structure designing and alignment/realignment on the basis of hierarchy, accountability and authority to ensure development of an optimal organization structure to meet business objectives in line with overall strategy in order in order to suit best to the demands of customers, business models and market place
• Conduct job analysis and develop job descriptions for MAFV HQ sections in line with business requirements and guide operating units in developing role profiles and ensure the Company has updated job descriptions available for all filled and vacant positions that may be a reference document for various HR aspects.
• Develop and ensure a comprehensive database of updated job descriptions is maintained and apply appropriate job evaluation system to determine the relative importance of jobs, and assign suitable job grade for every position at all times to ensure all jobs in the Company has evaluated job descriptions in line with approved organization structure.
• Work closely with the section Head and manage HRMS projects and work closely with IT to provide inputs in developing and enhancing sophisticated HR Information system and MIS reporting platforms which will provide relevant HR information for decision making to meet the company’s objectives.
• Prepare the annual compensation and benefits plans together with the right budgets and determine the actual cost per personnel. Propose the annual salary increase together with the relevant cost subject to review and approval of senior management
• Conduct data analysis and propose and regularly update a cost effective rewards programs as and when required to recognize the significant achievements of the employees.
• Manage the conduct of regular and periodical salary and benefits benchmark surveys with comparable organizations in the market in order to assess the organization pay level in comparison with similar companies on the market and work closely with the Section Head in developing an appropriate salary structure and sound salary administration process in the right method to link salary to performance.
• Review and provide inputs in preparation of comprehensive analytical reports on the survey findings for Senior Management review and make informed decisions
• Conduct benchmarking and analysis of Compensation and benefits practices and provide inputs and suggestions for the continuous improvement of practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans in line with company objectives.
• Conduct review of HC policies and processes to ensure competitiveness, equity, consistency, quality and compliance with legal requirements and analyze statistical data and reports to identify and provide recommendations to the Section Head on policy changes in line with local legislations and international best practices.
• Review and release reports to the Section Head with timely information to monitor the progress of remuneration & planning initiatives and release HC KPI reports and dashboards to monitor section activity status.
Position Requirements
- Graduate in Human Resources Management
- Excellent knowledge of Compensation and Benefits methodology and techniques.
- Awareness of International markets (GCC and ME)
