Purpose
This role is responsible for leading the Category Management function covering the products related to Technology (Networks & IT). The role covers end to end sourcing from supplier selection through to negotiation and completion.
Context/ Background
Qtel purchases a wide range of materials and services, and provides services both internally and externally. The Procurement & Logistics unit coordinates all activities related to three key aspects covering purchase, logistics and materials management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Business Administration or Engineering
Ideally would be an additional qualification in Procurement Management – such as the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
10 years experience in a Strategic Sourcing function for high value technical products with a significant understanding of Contract negotiations to international industry standards
